When thousands of people became ill from vaping, we knew we had to take a stronger stance on the subject. Messaging about vaping in our smoking cessation materials was ambivalent, but warned that long-term effects weren’t known. We created a few resources specific to vaping and e-cig use, noting the risks and dangers, for our community outreach teams to use in the field.
Our new materials – a flyer and social media posts – focused on the new data and findings about the effects of vaping and e-cig use.
